Chad W. Phillips 704.805.1009 cphillips@guggenheimrealestate.com Mr. Phillips is responsible for the sourcing, evaluation, due diligence and monitoring of real estate managers as investment opportunities for the PLUS funds and GREI. During his tenure at Guggenheim Real Estate LLC, Chad has worked on the investment of over $550 million in equity in third-party U.S. real estate fund investments and manages a portfolio of 11 fund investments whose peak value exceeded $900 million. He currently sits on the Advisory Council of two private real estate funds in the U.S. Chad has also participated in the acquisition of 75 U.S. direct property assets with a combined gross acquisition value in excess of $2.1 billion. Internationally, Chad is responsible for investment and manager due diligence for fund investments in Brazil, the United Kingdom, the Nordics and India. To date, commitments to these funds have totaled $20 million. Prior to joining GRE in 2004, Chad was an Associate in Banc of America Securities' Real Estate Investment Banking and Debt Capital Markets Groups, where he was involved in various mergers and acquisitions and capital raising assignments for public and private corporate real estate clients. He is a graduate of Davidson College. |
